I LOVE TODAY'S BADASS CHICK: she's 13, her name is Alanna Wall, and she created a non-profit called Polished Girlz. She and her team of more than 100 volunteers head into children's hospitals and rehab facilities and they paint the nails of the patients. Polished Girlz has been featured on Ellen and has also expanded to over five states in the US and is on its way to internal recognition with the help of the UN. These fashionable and creative ladies sit down with their clients, some of whom are mentally handicapped, and pamper them for the day. They also educate their clients about proper hand washing and how important it is to take care of yourself. Alanna is one of my most favorite Badass Chicks because she has a unique vision that truly makes other people feel special. Alanna (and her entire Polished Girlz team!) is my Badass Chicks of the Day!
