I had the pleasure of working in the same building as Phil Stone who was on the KMOD morning show for 27 years. He passed away last Wednesday and will truly be missed. I remember when I was hired by Clear Channel years ago being so star struck by Phil and Brent. I thought it was so cool that I worked in the same building as them. In later years, Phil would see me in the halls and call me Breadbox, Dinnerplate, or something along those lines. A memorial service will be held for Phil this Thursday at the Cain's Ballroom and doors will open at 5pm.
